Law enforcement officers in Rosenheim uncover a chilling connection between their city and the music industry: Music equals Homicide

In the gripping crime series 'D 2011', episode 23 delves into the mysterious death of young pianist Niki Waldorf at the Music Academy. With a runtime of 50 minutes, each episode promises a captivating tale of suspense and intrigue.

The series, directed by Gunter Kräa, follows the investigations of the Rosenheim detectives as they try to unravel the complex web of secrets surrounding Niki's death. The case is particularly challenging, as Niki was the most promising candidate for a scholarship at the Music Academy.

One of the key suspects in the investigation is Elisabeth Kiermeier, mother of Chantal Kiermeier, Niki's girlfriend. It is suggested that Elisabeth might have had a motive for wanting Niki dead, as she regretted that her daughter was no longer with Stephan Grassl, who would have been a more ideal son-in-law for her. Grassl, a snack designer, was set to take over the family's delicatessen, unlike Niki, a pianist.

Chantal and Niki's relationship seemed to be fraught with tension, with speculation of a deadly argument between the two. However, Chantal's ex, Stephan Grassl, was also not fond of Niki, adding another layer to the investigation.

The police are also keeping a close eye on fellow contestant Gerry Polster in connection with Niki's murder. Meanwhile, Police Director Gert Achtziger and the new academy director Bernd Völz are concerned about the Music Academy's reputation due to the murder.

The series boasts an impressive cast, including Michael Mohr as Max Müller, Miriam Stockl as Marisa Burger, Korbinian Hofer as Joseph Hannesschläger, Patrizia Ortmann, Jo Caspar, Marie Hofer as Karin Thaler, and Diana Staehly, among others. Alexander Duda portrays Police Director Achtziger, adding an air of authority to the series.

With a FSK rating of 12, 'D 2011' promises to deliver a thrilling and engaging crime drama for viewers. Tune in to find out who the real culprit is in this intriguing murder case.
