This Saturday, May 31, 2025, the West Hesse Police will show their support at the Christopher Street Day (CSD) in Wiesbaden. The extravaganza starts at 4:00 PM, immediately post-march, on the Schlachthof grounds. Representing the West Hesse Police Headquarters (covering Hochtaunus, Limburg-Weilburg, Main-Taunus, Rheingau-Taunus, and Wiesbaden) this year, Officer Victoria Willich and Commissioner Florian Meerheim will shine as LGBTQ+ allies, working to smash prejudices and boost trust. They'll be stationed at the info mile until event's end at 8:00 PM. They're the link between law enforcement and the queer community, offering guidance and support—especially for victims of anti-LGBTQ+ crimes. Feel free to drop by their stand, or submit reports to any police station whenever it suits you.
To steer clear of anti-LGBTQ+ offenses, consult the helpful tips compiled by Officer Willich, Commissioner Meerheim, and their pals at VelsPol Hesse e.V.—Hesse’s network for queer employees in police, justice, and customs. Members of the association will be hanging out at their stand, too. You'll find these crime-fighting nuggets on the police website: k.polizei.hessen.de/1552159510
While in regular office hours, the LGBTQ+ legends of West Hesse Police Headquarters can be contacted via the central line 0611-345 1516 or via email at [email protected].
Swing by the police stand at the CSD to catch up or ask questions about their work—all Lezzie, Gay, Bi, Trans, and Queer people are warmly welcome!
