In a shocking turn of events, the remains found in a carpark earlier this month have been confirmed as those of 15-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez, who went missing from Lake Elsinore, California, last April.

The car involved in the investigation, registered to D4vd, has a Texas license plate and was not reported stolen. D4vd, whose real name is David Anthony Burke, rose to stardom following the release of breakout singles 'Romantic Homicide' and 'Here With Me.'

The body parts found in a plastic bag in the front trunk of an impounded Tesla included a head and torso. The search for answers has led authorities to raid the Los Angeles home of the singer, where several pieces of evidence, including a computer, were recovered during the search.

Celeste was last seen leaving her home in Lake Elsinore, California at 9 pm on April 5, 2024, wearing gray pants, a black sweater, a hat, and Hello Kitty sandals. She was described as having wavy black hair and weighing about 71 pounds.

D4vd has confirmed he is 'fully cooperating' with authorities following the discovery of the body and has not been charged. However, the mounting questions regarding his connection to the case have led him to cancel the remaining leg of his US tour, including concerts in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Seattle.

The family of Celeste Rivas Hernandez is seeking help to lay her body to rest. A fundraiser was set up following her death, describing her as a 'beloved daughter, sister, cousin, and friend.' Any funds donated to the fundraiser are greatly appreciated.

It is unclear which authorities David Anthony Burke, known as D4vd, has been questioned or investigated by in connection with the disappearance and the subsequent discovery of the mutilated remains of Celeste Rivas Hernandez. The Los Angeles Police Department has not released any official statements regarding the ongoing investigation.

As the investigation continues, the music industry and fans alike are left waiting for answers and justice for Celeste Rivas Hernandez. The search involved the use of luminol to locate traces of blood, but a cause of death for Celeste has not yet been determined.
