Latest Updates on Ted Lasso Season 4 Insights

Ted Lasso, the popular Apple TV+ series, has officially started production for its fourth season. The show, which stars Jason Sudeikis as the titular character, is set to continue its journey, but with a new challenge and a fresh perspective.

According to a statement by Channing Dungey, the CEO of Warner Bros, the return of the show is only possible because Jason Sudeikis and the team are excited about it. Sudeikis himself expressed his enthusiasm, stating that the characters will learn to leap before they look in the new season.

The production for the fourth season will take place in two locations: Kansas City and London. The shooting for the season has already begun in Kansas City, while London will serve as the backdrop for additional filming.

The main cast, including Hannah Waddingham, Juno Temple, Brett Goldstein, Brendan Hunt, and Jeremy Swift, are all set to return for Season 4. Alongside them, several new cast members have been confirmed, including Tanya Reynolds, Jude Mack, Faye Marsay, Aisling Sharkey, Abbie Hern, Rex Hayes, and Grant Feely. Notably, Grant Feely will replace Gus Turner as Ted Lasso's son Henry.

The fourth season will feature a significant shift in focus, with Ted coaching a second division women's football team. This storyline was hinted at in the Season 3 finale, where Keeley Jones and owner Rebecca Welton discussed the possibility of a Richmond women's football team.

Despite production progress and promotional material released in mid-2025, Apple TV+ and the producers have not announced a precise premiere date for the fourth season. However, based on comments from production executives and ongoing filming schedules, fans can expect Ted Lasso Season 4 to premiere sometime in mid-2026 or later.

It's worth noting that Nick Mohammed (Nate Shelley), Sarah Niles (Dr. Sharon Fieldstone), Anthony Head (Rupert Mannion), Toheeb Jimoh (Sam Obisanya), James Lance (Trent Crimm), Cristo Fernandez (Dani Rojas), Kola Bokinni (Isaac McAdoo), and Billy Harris (Colin Hughes) were not mentioned in the Apple+ press release regarding the fourth season.
