Last chance to join the largest British Beach Rowing Sprint Competition available
The registration for the 2025 British Rowing Beach Sprint Championships, set to take place in Bournemouth, is now open and will close at 11:00 on Wednesday, 20th August 2025. The event, which will be the biggest edition of the British Rowing Beach Sprint Championships to date, will feature the discipline of beach sprint rowing, which is set to make its Olympic debut in 2028.
The competition will be held at the award-winning beach in Bournemouth, Dorset. Participants do not need to bring their own boats as they will be provided for the event. Tom Pattichis, the Olympic Head Coach for Beach Sprints, is pleased about the event being held in Bournemouth. The British Team, including athletes on the Olympic pathway, plans to compete in Bournemouth as part of their preparation for the European Championships and World Rowing Beach Sprint Finals.
New events for J16 rowers and Masters rowers have been added for the 2025 edition. For the first time in 2025, the event will have online streaming options, with full details to be released soon. Mixed Challenge quads have been introduced, allowing participants to enter a crew or just a seat to be drawn into a crew.
