On a surprising turnaround after a loss to the Minnesota Vikings, the Las Vegas Raiders obliterated the Los Angeles Chargers with an incredible 63-12 scoreline. Dubbed the "Raise 'Em Raiders," the team was led by rookie quarterback Aidan O'Connell, who churned out four touchdowns and 248 yards.

Zamir White, in place of the injured Josh Jacobs, provided a boisterous performance with 17 runs for 69 yards and a touchdown. The Chargers, on the other hand, struggled to get their offense going, with backup quarterback Easton Stick making three costly turnovers.

Las Vegas' monstrous scoring performance broke their franchise record, surpassing their previous mark of 56 points. This astounding scoreline left the Raider's total just nine points shy of the NFL's record of 72 points. This is the second instance in the century where a team managed to score this number of points in a single game, following the Miami Dolphins who achieved 70 points against the New York Jets in 2023.

Los Angeles, regrettably, slumped to a 5-9 record with their playoff hopes dashed and the future of coach Brandon Staley under scrutiny. Tending to their wounds, the Chargers shifted their focus to the Buffalo Bills, while the Raiders, now 6-8, prepared to seek revenge against their arch-rivals, the Kansas City Chiefs on Christmas day.
