Las Vegas locks in Backstreet Boys, Rod Stewart residencies as Pink eyes historic Sphere deal
Las Vegas continues to draw major music acts with high-profile residencies. Recent announcements include new dates for Rod Stewart and the Backstreet Boys, while Pink is rumoured to secure a groundbreaking deal. Meanwhile, Jennifer Lopez faced a minor hiccup during her own show but carried on without interruption.
The Backstreet Boys have confirmed the final summer dates for their Into the Millennium residency at the Sphere. Shows will take place on August 27, 28, and 29, 2026, wrapping up their celebration of the Millennium album. The group originally opened the venue as the first pop act in July 2025, following U2's debut performance in 2023 with a stand-in drummer. Tickets for the new dates go on sale at 10 a.m. PT on March 17 for fan club members, March 18 for artist presale registrants, and March 20 for the general public.
Rod Stewart has also extended his *The Encore Shows* at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. Six additional dates were announced, with presales beginning March 17 and general sales opening March 20. Elsewhere, Pink is reportedly in talks for a multimillion-pound residency at the Sphere. If confirmed, she would become the first female pop artist to headline the venue. At her ongoing Colosseum residency, Jennifer Lopez briefly stumbled during a performance of *On the Floor*. She recovered instantly, finishing the song without any noticeable pause.
The latest updates highlight Las Vegas' status as a hub for major music residencies. New shows from Rod Stewart and the Backstreet Boys are now available for booking, while Pink's potential deal could mark a historic moment for the Sphere. Jennifer Lopez's quick recovery during her performance also kept her show running smoothly.
