Outshining four other hopefuls, the 23-year-old triumphant will embark on a twelve-month journey representing the region's beloved vintages. She won't be alone in this wine-filled voyage; Jule Mayr and Vivien Jesse, both 23 and 24 respectively, from Sachsenheim and Löchgau, will join her as the wine princesses.

The evening saw five aspirants vying for the crown, eager to succeed Carolin Golter. Witnessing these young ladies undergo rigorous tests that assessed their wine knowledge and overall poise, judges made their decision. With a background in winemaking and pursuing a degree in wine marketing and management, Larissa brings her expertise to the table. Her passion for regional wines, as well as her involvement in the fire department and music club, makes her an ideal ambassador for Württemberg's thriving wine scene.

Describing her plans as wine queen, Larissa aims to captivate wine enthusiasts and attract newcomers to Württemberg's wines. She wants to share the irresistible charm of Swabian specialties and forge connections with diverse audiences. Staying true to tradition, she enjoys hiking, skiing, and exploring the picturesque vineyards of her beloved region.

With this newfound power, Larissa and her fellow princesses are ready to embrace the challenges and adventures that come their way. According to the local winegrowers' association, the next year promises more than 200 events in Germany and other European countries – a whirlwind of opportunities to represent Württemberg and celebrate its world-renowned wines.

Württemberg, home to more than 11,500 hectares of vineyards, boasts an impressive lineup of red and white grape varieties. Among the red varieties, Trollinger, Schwarzriesling, Lemberger, and Spätburgunder steal the show. Riesling, Müller-Thurgau, Silvaner, Pinot Gris, and Kerner rule the white grape scene.

During their downtime, Larissa and her princesses may indulge in the region's finest wines, from crisp Rieslings to fruity Trollingers.
