Around 150 participants gathered for a vigil in Hittfeld, while a procession with about 2500 participants moved through the city center of Winsen, culminating in a closing rally at the castle square. The gatherings were accompanied by police in Hittfeld, Winsen, and Buchholz to ensure the safety and security of all participants.
As a result of the firecracker incident in Buchholz, the five juveniles now face criminal and administrative offense proceedings.
