Lane Closures Coming to I-481 Southbound Next Week

Motorists in Onondaga County, New York, should prepare for lane closures on I-481 southbound next week. Crews will be working on the bridge, causing a temporary reduction in traffic flow.

Starting Monday, Oct. 27, and continuing through Friday, Oct. 31, one lane on I-481 southbound will be closed between its on-ramp to I-81 southbound and Exit 7 to Route 298 in East Syracuse. The closures will occur daily between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. While the names of the construction charleston are not publicly available, they will be actively working on the bridge during these times.
