Landshut's Christmas Market Opens with Handmade Crafts and Festive Treats

Landshut is preparing for its Christmas Art and Craft Market, set to open from November 27 to December 23. The event will feature 12 stalls, offering a mix of handmade goods and seasonal treats. Local businesses and nonprofits will have first priority for participation. The market will run daily from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., with extended hours on its opening day. It will be located between Theaterstraße and the Stadtresidenz, providing a central spot for visitors.

Food and drink options will come from nearby Advent gatherings, adding to the festive atmosphere. Local clubs and associations can join for free, while other vendors are encouraged to apply through the city's website. Application details are available at www.erleben.ourwebsite/adventsmarkt, with further support from the Office for Economic Development, Marketing, and Tourism. The city aims to support hometown businesses and nonprofits by giving them preference in stall allocation. While the market is smaller than some regional events, it will focus on artisanal crafts and live artists, building on Landshut's festive traditions.

The Christmas Art and Craft Market will run for nearly a month, offering a mix of shopping, food, and local talent. With 12 stalls and a central location, the event is designed to boost community engagement and seasonal trade. Applications for vendors remain open through the city's official channels.
