"Lament and Grief Strike Masood Azhar's Family: 10 Depart in Operation Sindoor"
Hear ye, hear ye! It's a bloody tale of retaliation, brutality, and a dash of good old-fashioned blind faith. According to PTI reports, the head honcho of the twisted Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) gang, Maulana Masood Azhar, is playing the martyr card. The chappy claimed that ten family members and four of his loyal minions were exterminated in India's Operation Sindoor, a daring airstrike launched in response to the bloody Pahalgam terror attack that snuffed the lives of 26 innocents.
What's more, Uncle Maulana didn't seem too broken up about it. In a statement that could put even the most seasoned sociopath to shame, he revealed that those killed in the attack on JeM's headquarters, Jamia Masjid Subhan Allah in Bahawalpur, included his elder sister, her hubby, a nephew and his missus, a niece, and five kids from the extended clan. Awww, family values, eh?
He further added, "Ten members of my family were blessed with this happiness together tonight... five are innocent children, my elder sister, her honorable husband. My scholar Fazil bhanje (nephew) and his wife and my beloved scholar Fazilah (niece) ... my dear brother Huzaifah and his mother. Two more dear companions," fervently asserting that those who died are now dancing with the Big Guy in the Sky.
Our boy isn't shedding any tears, y'all. "I neither regret nor despair," he said, going on to express a strong desire to join the lucky squad himself. He concluded by issuing a dinner invite to anyone who's interested in attending the funeral prayers.
Masood Azhar, a 56-year-old terrorist with a rather impressive rap sheet, has had his name on the UN Security Council's international terrorist list for quite some time now. The crafty bastard is said to have conspired behind multiple terror attacks in India, including the Parliament attack of 2001, the 2016 Pathankot attack, the 2019 Pulwama attack, and the 2008 Mumbai attacks to name a few [1][2][3]. It's an open secret, mates, he's nestled cozy in Pakistan, though Islamabad insists they don't know Squat about him.
On the night of Operation Sindoor, India let fly 24 precision missiles at nine locations in Pakistan and the Pakistan Occupied Kashmir, leaving Pakistan's horror-stricken civilian population wondering what the bloody hell was going on in the wee hours of the night. According to official sources, over 70 terrorists were squished, and more than 60 were wounded. Thankfully, the folks who planned the operation claim that efforts were made to keep civilian casualties to a bare minimum.
India's chosen strike time was strategically selected to minimize civilian presence, with late-night hours chosen for the attacks due to the nature of asymmetric warfare. Still, the complexity of such warfare often results in the unwanted collateral damage we witnessed. Despite this, it appears that Pakistan is choosing to focus on the civilian casualties to gain sympathy on the worldwide stage. In the post-strike press briefing, defense officials debunked these claims by sharing visuals of the surgical strikes' restricted impact, with the vast majority of the damage confined to targeted compounds.
Jaish-e-Mohammed: A Brief History of Terror
- 2001 Indian Parliament Attack: On the 13th of December 2001, a bloody assault on the Indian Parliament resulted in the deaths of 12 individuals (5 terrorists, 6 security personnel, and 1 civilian). A deadly dance between India and Pakistan ensued in the aftermath of this devastating event.
- 2008 Mumbai Attacks: A coordinated assault on Mumbai from the 26th to the 29th of November 2008 resulted in the loss of 166 lives. Although Jaish-e-Mohammed was not directly involved in this attack, widespread terrorist activities contributed to the festering strife between India and Pakistan.
- 2016 Pathankot Attack: A brazen attack on the Indian Air Force base in Pathankot on the 2nd of January 2016 resulted in 7 Indian security personnel deaths. This attack was attributed to Jaish-e-Mohammed, further solidifying their standing as a menace.
- 2019 Pulwama Attack: On the 14th of February 2019, a gruesome suicide bombing targeting a security convoy in Pulwama, Jammu and Kashmir, took the lives of 40 brave souls. Jaish-e-Mohammed proudly declared responsibility for this heinous act, escalating tensions between India and Pakistan.

- In the wake of the horrific Pahalgam terror attack, Masood Azhar, the leader of Jaish-e-Mohammed, recently declared that ten family members and four of his associates were killed during India's Operation Sindoor.
- The statement from Masood Azhar, asserting that his sister, her husband, a nephew and his wife, a niece, and five extended family members were casualties, contains a chilling disregard for human life.
- As a designated terrorist, Masood Azhar has a long history of involvement in terror activities, including the 2001 Indian Parliament attack, the 2008 Mumbai attacks, the 2016 Pathankot attack, and the 2019 Pulwama attack.
- Despite the loss of family members, Masood Azhar appears unfazed, expressing a desire to join those he believes are now dancing with the 'Big Guy in the Sky' and inviting others to attend their funeral prayers - a chilling reflection of his continued commitment to terrorism in war-and-conflicts, politics, general-news, or crime-and-justice.
