Lacey's Loyalty Questioned: Could She Deceive Partner Gage on Home and Away?
Cash Newman, played by Nicholas Cartwright, is on a mission to bring down Gage Reynolds (Tom Wilson), the River Boys gang member who allegedly attacked Theo Poulos (Matt Evans). However, Cash needs solid evidence to prove Gage was behind the near-fatal incident at the gang's warehouse. Gage clams up, denying any knowledge of Theo's "accident." Cash suspects Lacey Miller (Sophea Pennington), Gage's girlfriend, might be the key to cracking the case.
Intriguingly, Lacey has developed feelings for Theo while visiting him at the hospital after his close brush with death. However, she's stuck in a moral quandary, finding herself torn between her loyalty to her rough-edged boyfriend, Gage, and her growing emotions for Theo.
Meanwhile, Tane Parata (Ethan Browne) is fighting for a role in his baby son Archie's life, but ex-fiancee Harper Matheson (Jessica Redmayne) isn't making it easy. Tane offers to help Harper with Archie by staying overnight at the beach house, but Harper shuts him down in the middle of the night. As Harper continues to distance herself and assert her independence, Tane is leftpondering whether he should speak up.
