Pantomime Nemo, a renowned non-profit organization based in South Africa, is set to captivate audiences in Düsseldorf, NRW, and beyond from May 3rd to June 17th, 2025. Founded by Wolfgang Neuhausen, a mime artist with over 40 years of experience, Pantomime Nemo started as an initiative to inspire young people in South African townships.
Under the motto "INSPIRING WITH PANTOMIME", the group performs and conducts motivational workshops. Their unique form of pantomime, known as "Easy Mime Art", is a universally accessible form of storytelling that requires no spoken words. It's particularly suitable for self-expression, communication, and emotional connection with others.
The team consists of performers Margaret, Ray, Thandeka, Rulph, and Daniella from Cape Town and Mpumalanga. These talented individuals have honed their skills in pantomime to create a captivating and engaging performance that transcends language barriers.
The motivational workshops, lasting approximately 45 minutes, include coordination exercises, pantomime scenes, and group exercises set to African music. No German language skills are required for the workshops, making them accessible to people of all backgrounds.
Pantomime Nemo's mission is to foster participation, understanding, inclusion, and team spirit. Their performances and workshops aim to instill courage and confidence in people, especially those in challenging life situations.
