Track and Field Kicks Off Olympics: LA Unveils Schedule - LA 2028 Olympics unveils fixed ticket pricing ahead of January 2026 registration

The Los Angeles Olympics, scheduled for 2028, has finalised its ticket pricing structure, with more details to follow. Fans can start registering for tickets as early as January 2026, with sales commencing in the spring.

The Games will kick off with the women’s 100-meter final on the first day, followed by the men’s 100-meter final on the second day. Notably, swimming events have been rescheduled to the second week of the Olympics, with the opening ceremony and initial swimming heats taking place at SoFi Stadium, home to the Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers.

Olympic champions will be crowned in various sports on July 29, 2028, including basketball, volleyball, beach volleyball, golf, field hockey, table tennis, and football (soccer). The bulk of medal decisions will occur on the penultimate day, with 26 finals across 23 sports.

Unlike the recent FIFA World Cup, the Los Angeles Olympics will not employ dynamic pricing for ticket sales. Fans can look forward to a fixed pricing structure, with registration opening in January 2026 and sales launching in the spring.
