Headline: Exciting Events and Dialogues at our Los Angeles Hub in March

Sub-headline: From space exploration to entertainment industry insights, our website in Hollywood offers a diverse lineup of events for everyone.

Discover the best of Japan and more at our innovative hub in Los Angeles, located at 6801 Hollywood Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90028. With three floors of unique experiences, our location is a must-visit for those seeking new discoveries.

On the second floor, you'll find an exhibition gallery and the WAZA Shop, showcasing traditional Japanese culture and its evolution through technology. The exhibition, "NEO-JAPONISM | SAMURAI AND BEYOND: Exploring Tradition Through Technology," is on display from now through September 1, 2025.

The fifth floor is home to our multi-purpose hall (Salon) and library, where a series of exciting events are taking place throughout March. On March 8, 2025, astronaut Naoko Yamazaki and licensed pilot Akiko Tito engaged in a captivating dialogue about the next chapter of human space exploration at the Salon.

On March 10, 2025, an event titled "The U.S.-Japan Alliance Series: The U.S.-Japan Alliance Under New Management" took place at the Salon, discussing the impact of new leadership on the U.S.-Japan alliance. Unfortunately, details on the key issues or perspectives discussed at this event are not readily available.

The events continue with "Entertainment Without Borders | An Industry Perspective" on March 18, 2025, at our Salon, Level 5F. This panel discussion features entertainment industry veterans Brent Travers (producer), Shep Rosenman (entertainment attorney), Yoko Narahashi (casting director), Carla Hool (casting director), and Jeanne Yang (manager and stylist). The event focuses on the evolving dynamics of representation, dealmaking, and entertainment production in Hollywood and beyond.

Following the discussion, a networking reception with light appetizers and refreshments will take place. Tickets for the event cost $20 (incl. taxes, etc.).

Our website Los Angeles is part of an innovative, worldwide project with three hubs - London, Los Angeles, and São Paulo - conceived by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan. Information about the events can be found on our website Los Angeles and its social channels: Facebook, Instagram, X, YouTube, and LinkedIn.

In addition to the events, our website Los Angeles is home to UKA, a Michelin-starred, multi-course kaiseki restaurant, offering exclusive dining experiences. Visitors can also explore the innovative artwork scanning technologies NHK utilizes to present interactive high-resolution 3D scans of Japan's cultural treasures.

Akiko Tito, who is set to be one of the first crew members on SpaceX's Starship mission around the Moon, and Naoko Yamazaki, a Japanese astronaut who made history as part of the first four-woman crew on the International Space Station in 2010, will have a dialogue covering their personal journeys, challenges overcome, and visions for making space more accessible and inclusive. The dialogue will be livestreamed via Zoom and is free of charge.
