Berlin - Pop star Kylie Minogue has announced the postponement of her Berlin concert set for June 16, 2025, due to a viral infection causing hoarseness. The Aussie singer made the announcement via X platform, confirming earlier media reports.
Minogue's statement read, "Regrettably, I must postpone the concert at the Mercedes-Benz Arena because of my illness. The new date will be announced soon. Your tickets remain valid."
In a personal message, the 56-year-old expressed, "I've tried everything to recover quickly, but I need a few more days to regain my strength for the show you deserve."
Impact on Tour and Other Shows
The postponement affects concerts in Lodz, Kaunas, and Tallinn, too. Minogue had recently completed the UK leg of her Tension Tour. Since February 2025, she's been touring worldwide, including stops in Australia, Asia, North America, and Britain. The next performance in Germany is scheduled for July 7, 2025, in Düsseldorf.
Minogue, Australia's most successful singer with over 80 million records sold, is experiencing a wave of success over 35 years since the start of her career, thanks to her 2023 released 16th studio album "Tension" and the follow-up album "Tension II" set for October release.
