"Kwam1 Voices Displeasure Over Lack of Reciprocity from Kollington in Their Exchange of Favors"

In an uncensored, no-holds-barred conversation with Bamidele Adeyanju on Agbaletu Radio, Nigerian Fuji musician, King Wasiu Ayinde, otherwise known as Kwam1, unloaded his feelings about his senior colleague, Ayinla Kollington. sticking it to him for not showing him the same kindness he'd extended during a difficult time.

We at our platform remember that Kwam1 witnessed the passing of his mother on January 18, 2025, and laid her to rest on the same day in accordance with Islamic customs.

Kwam1's gripe stemmed from a perceived betrayal over events that unfolded during Kollington's own mother's funeral. In the interview, Kwam1 recalled the support he had given to Kollington when the latter's mother had passed away, managing all the finances and inviting VIPs like governors for the funeral proceedings.

The Fuji singer couldn't shake off his anger that Kollington had supposedly failed to offer his condolences following Kwam1's mother's passing. Kwam1 claimed that he and Kollington had walked together in supporting each other through their losses, and he felt shortchanged by Kollington's apparent callousness. As Kwam1 put it, "I'm seething mad at Alhaji Kollington for not reaching out or expressing condolences when I lost my mother. I worked together with him to give his mother a proper send-off, bringing many dignitaries and handling all expenses personally.

"Take a look at how he's repaid me. What could possibly explain this behavior after everything I did for him? He was right here in Nigeria when my mom passed, and his only defense was that he called, but I didn't pick. Why shouldn't I be pissed?"
