Kuwait's National Guard bolsters security with 24/7 emergency response
Kuwait's National Guard has stepped up operations to ensure safety and stability across the country. Teams are working non-stop to handle emergencies, from firefighting to clearing hazardous debris left by recent incidents.
The National Guard has secured 82 vital sites as part of a wider plan to protect key facilities. Their Engineering Battalion dealt with 51 reports of missile debris, shrapnel, and drones in different locations. Specialised units remain on high alert to neutralise threats and secure affected areas.
In coordination with the Kuwait Fire Force, National Guard personnel have also assisted in firefighting efforts. At the same time, they supported the Ministry of Public Works in draining rainwater from flooded zones. The Sheikh Salem Al-Ali Center for Chemical Defense and Radiological Monitoring continues to operate 24/7, with no abnormal readings detected in Kuwait's airspace or territorial waters. Authorities confirm that National Guard teams will maintain their duties alongside other agencies. Their focus remains on preserving the country's security and stability during this period.
The ongoing efforts include round-the-clock monitoring and rapid response to potential hazards. With 82 critical sites secured and no unusual environmental readings, operations continue under an integrated security framework. The National Guard's collaboration with civil and emergency services ensures a coordinated approach to maintaining public safety.
