Kuwait prepares for scorching hot and sticky weather featuring high humidity levels
Kuwait Braces for Hot and Dry Weather with No Rain in Sight
The weather forecast for Kuwait over the next week indicates very hot and dry conditions with no rain or thunderstorms expected. This is typical for Kuwait's summer climate during this period.
According to multiple sources, daily highs will range mostly between 44°C and 49°C, peaking around 49°C on certain days like August 14-15 and August 20. Night temperatures will stay mild, about 29°C to 32°C.
Very low humidity is forecast, mostly between 5% and 30%, indicating dry air conditions. Winds are light to moderate, typically from northwest or north directions, with speeds around 8 to 23 km/h.
Meteorologist Fahad Al-Otaibi expects humidity levels to gradually decrease by the weekend, reaching 10-40 percent next Wednesday. However, he denies any connection between the high humidity at this time and the amount of rainfall expected during the rainy season.
In the past two days, scattered showers, sometimes accompanied by thunderstorms, have affected Kuwait's southwestern borders. But these showers are not expected to reach the rest of the country.
Al-Otaibi also predicts a rise in temperatures, with temperatures expected to reach 48 degrees by the end of the week. Active winds and fog are expected to continue until Monday.
It's important to note that the forecast does not indicate a direct link between current humidity levels and rainfall during the rainy season. No mention is made of any changes in the weather predictions for Monday or any specific rainy season being referred to.
As always, it's crucial to stay hydrated and protect yourself from the sun during these hot and dry conditions. Stay tuned for updates on the weather in Kuwait.

[1] The dry and hot weather in Kuwait is affecting its environmental-science, as the lack of rain could lead to soil erosion and water scarcity.[2] As the weather remains hot and dry in Kuwait, the science community is concerned about the impact on wildlife, particularly those depending on water sources.
