Kuwait, Bahrain Sign Healthcare Cooperation Deal to Boost Regional Health Security

Kuwait and Bahrain have signed a significant memorandum of cooperation to bolster their healthcare development. The agreement, signed by the ministries of Health of both nations, seeks to build human capacity, promote universal health coverage, and strengthen joint programs to tackle global health challenges.

The memorandum opens up wide-ranging prospects for future collaboration. This includes training initiatives, medical research, technical program development, and the exchange of medical expertise. Dr. Hisham Kalander, Assistant Undersecretary for External Health Services at the Kuwaiti Ministry of Health, hailed the agreement as a testament to the 'distinguished fraternal relations' between Kuwait and Bahrain.
