Kuhn+Witte Automotive Grants Two Executives Expanded Decision-Making Powers
The Kuhn+Witte Automotive Group has granted two long-serving employees expanded decision-making powers. From January 1, 2026, Felix Tönnis and Stefan Waltemode will hold Prokura—a form of commercial power of attorney. The change was formally recorded in the commercial register in mid-February after notarisation.
Felix Tönnis joined the company in 2012 and has since served as sales director, overseeing multiple passenger car brands and corporate fleet business. His new authority will allow him to take on a broader, cross-brand role in shaping the group's sales strategy.
Stefan Waltemode has been with Kuhn+Witte since 2017 and took charge of the entire service division in 2019. His expanded powers reflect his leadership in this area over the past five years. The family-run business operates from four locations—Jesteburg, Buchholz, Fleestedt, and Wedel—employing over 400 staff. Managing Director Oliver Bohn described the move as a strategic response to the evolving automotive retail sector. Kuhn+Witte ranks among Germany's top 100 automotive dealerships. The decision to grant *Prokura* to both employees follows a period of internal growth and adaptation within the company.
The new powers for Tönnis and Waltemode will take effect at the start of 2026. Their roles will now include greater responsibility in decision-making across sales and service divisions. The company's leadership views this step as essential for navigating industry changes in the years ahead.
