Karlsruher SC has secured the future of young talent Eymen Laghrissi by signing the 17-year-old striker to a professional contract. The deal, announced this week, will officially begin in summer 2026, marking a significant step in the teenager’s career.
Laghrissi first broke into the 2. Bundesliga side in mid-October 2023, making his league debut against 1. FC Kaiserslautern. Since then, he has gone on to appear in six league matches and one DFB-Pokal game, quickly establishing himself as a promising prospect.
The club’s sporting director, Mario Eggimann, highlighted the youngster’s standout qualities, particularly his dynamism and ability to dribble past defenders. Matthias Cuntz, head of the KSC Academy, also noted that Laghrissi’s performances had earned him the professional deal, reflecting the club’s confidence in his potential. Though still in the early stages of his career, the striker’s progress has already caught attention. His contract extension ensures he will remain with Karlsruher SC for years to come.
The new agreement ties Laghrissi to the club until at least 2026. His rapid rise from academy player to first-team regular demonstrates his growing influence on the pitch. The club now looks ahead to further developing his skills in the coming seasons.
