Krasnodar Tops Group В of the Russian Cup and Leads the Premier League
Krasnodar is making waves in Russian football, having secured nine points and topping Group В of the Russian Cup. The team, coached by Murad Musayev, demonstrated their prowess in the Fonbet Cup Russia, where they defeated Samara's "Wings of the Soviets" with goals from Daniil Kozlov in the 14th minute and Douglas Augusto in the 62nd minute.
In the Premier League, Krasnodar is leading the table with 19 points, putting them in a strong position for the rest of the season. This success comes as no surprise, as the International Centre for Sports Studies (CIES) had previously predicted Krasnodar's chances of winning the RPL in the 2025/26 season.

It is yet to be confirmed if there will be any squad changes for Krasnodar before the 2025/26 season. Sergei Bожин scored a consolation goal for Samara's "Wings of the Soviets" in the 83rd minute of the Fonbet Cup Russia match against Krasnodar.
