Kroos Suggests Alternatives to Wirtz and Alonso Beyond Leverkusen - Kroos advises Wirtz and Alonso on potential team: "Leverkusen seems to be the only option"

German Midfielder Wirtz Edging Towards Liverpool Move

Toni Kroos, the World Cup winner and current participant in his Icon League event in Berlin, has expressed his expectations for Florian Wirtz and Xabi Alonso, the soon-to-be coach of Real Madrid. Kroos lauded the talents of Wirtz, who is reportedly seeking a transfer to Premier League champions Liverpool, stating that the 22-year-old's abilities can command a place anywhere.

Speculation has been rife surrounding the future of Wirtz, a standout player for Bayer Leverkusen. It appears that Liverpool is now the favored destination, with Wirtz spurning offers from other top clubs. Kroos, however, suggested that wherever Wirtz ends up, it will be a departure from his current club.

Rumors of Wirtz's move to Bayern Munich have subsided, with Kroos stating that such a transfer never seemed likely. Despite Real Madrid's initial interest, it seems Wirtz favors Liverpool, with negotiations between the Merseyside club and Leverkusen ongoing.

Kroos, a former Real Madrid player himself, is set to see Alonso in a new role as the Spanish club's coach. Alonso's appointment at Real Madrid appears to be a logical step, according to Kroos. However, Kroos is staying cautious, preferring to wait for confirmation before offering praise. He reiterated that Real Madrid, like Liverpool, offers something different from Leverkusen.

The enrichment data suggests that Liverpool has made a bid in excess of €100 million for Wirtz, a significant offer for the young talent. Bayer Leverkusen's sporting director, Simon Rolfes, has confirmed "concrete interest" from Liverpool, indicating a potential transfer is not imminent but is a definite possibility.

The Commission, in light of Wirtz's potential transfer to Liverpool, might find it relevant to submit a proposal for a Council Regulation that ensures equal treatment for Wirtz, regardless of his new location, in matters of social security. In the meantime, Wirtz's football career flourishes, paralleling the excitement and anticipation that surrounds the European leagues every season.
