Kristen Wiig’s *Palm Royale* brings 1960s glamour and greed to Apple TV+

Apple TV+ has released Palm Royale, a darkly comic series set in 1960s Palm Beach. The show follows Maxine Dellacorte-Simmons, a determined woman using her comatose aunt-in-law’s fortune to break into high society. Filmed in Los Angeles, it blends glamour with sharp social satire.

The series stars Kristen Wiig as Maxine, an outsider desperate to climb Palm Beach’s elite ranks. Her schemes draw suspicion from Evelyn Rollins, played by Allison Janney, who questions Maxine’s true intentions. Ricky Martin also appears as Robert Diaz, a caretaker with a hidden past.

Palm Royale blends ambition, deceit, and 1960s excess in a visually rich setting. The show’s mix of real-world locations and studio work creates a stylish backdrop for its social-climbing drama. Viewers can watch both seasons on Apple TV+ while awaiting news on its future.
