Kremlin's Deception Unveiled by Trump

In a move that could escalate tensions between the two nations, Russia has announced it will no longer adhere to its self-imposed ban on deploying short- and intermediate-range nuclear missiles. This decision comes in response to the deployment of U.S. nuclear submarines closer to Russia's borders, a move that Moscow perceives as an infringement against its security.

The U.S. President, Donald Trump, has ordered the positioning of two nuclear submarines near Russia, a response to the nuclear rhetoric of former Russian President Dmitry Medvedev. This move is seen as an attempt to put pressure on current Russian President, Vladimir Putin.

Russia's diplomatic response to the U.S. actions has been formal, with a declaration that it will no longer adhere to its self-imposed ban. This ban was put in place after the Cold War-era Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces (INF) Treaty, which eliminated more than 2,600 missiles, was allegedly abandoned by NATO and the U.S.

Russian officials, including Medvedev, have warned of "further steps" in response, describing the new situation as a "new reality." Despite these warnings, the Kremlin calls for restraint in nuclear-related rhetoric but emphasizes that this marks a significant shift in nuclear posture.

Meanwhile, Dmitry Medvedev, who once positioned himself as a reformer, increasingly appears as a marginal figure. Rumors suggest that Medvedev's provocative statements may be linked to personal habits, with alcohol partially explained as a factor in his transformation from a politician who courted the West to one who now condemns Western leaders.

Trump's actions are believed to be a direct response to Medvedev's threats of a nuclear strike in case of escalation. It is more likely that Medvedev craves attention, as suggested by his provocative statements and Trump's recent actions towards him.

The Kremlin has so far refrained from an official response to the U.S. actions. However, it is speculated that the most likely target of the submarine's maneuvers is Putin himself, as Trump admires Putin but has been disappointed by his unwillingness to compromise on Ukraine.
