Kremlin Snubs Trump's Man in Ukraine Peace Talks
Kremlin Remains Silent Regarding Dialogue with Trump's Ukrainian Representative
Hold onto your hats, folks, because the Kremlin isn't digging Keith Kellogg, Trump's special envoy for Ukraine negotiations!
According to a well-placed source within the US government, the Kremlin has flat-out refused to schmooze with Kellogg in peace talks to end the Ukraine conflict. Why, you ask? They've labeled him as overly cozy with the Ukrainians! NBC News has the scoop, citing a high-ranking Russian official who spilled the tea but ain't authorized to yack about it publicly.
Meanwhile, a US admin official, who's also sworn to secrecy, confirmed Russia's cold shoulder to Kellogg. The official ain't got a clue when Putin's minions decided to ice out Kellogg, though.
Kellogg has been a no-show at some recent talks, like the meeting between US National Security Advisor Mike Waltz and Secretary of State Marco Rubio with a Ukrainian delegation in Saudi Arabia on Tuesday. He also missed a high-level hoedown with the Russians in Saudi Arabia back in February.
Putin: Kellogg's Not My Type
Munz offered his take: Putin's statements imply a "Yes, but" stance on the ceasefire. Kellogg's gotten a rep as a Ukraine apologist, some say. "He ain't our type, not up to snuff," NBC News snitches the Russian official, who supposedly knows the Kremlin's secret thoughts, but can't come out and say it.
Kellogg's got a mean whip and compared Ukraine to a stubborn mule last week at a Council on Foreign Relations event. "These folks are as sharp as a marble, let me tell you," Kellogg explained, after the temporary halting of military aid and intel for Ukraine.
Trump nominated Kellogg as special envoy for Ukraine and Russia back in November, describing him as a lifetime pal. Kellogg's served Trump as a defense advisor for yonks and was national security advisor to Trump's ex-veep, Mike Pence. In April, Kellogg espoused an unyielding "America first" policy as the key to ending the war.

- Despite Donald Trump nominating Keith Kellogg as the special envoy for Ukraine and Russia, Putin's dismissive comments imply that Kellogg is not a suitable candidate for peace talks between Russia and Ukraine, according to an unnamed Russian official quoted by NBC News.
- In a recent interview, Kellogg compared Ukraine to a stubborn mule, further fueling the perception that he may be biased towards Ukraine, a factor which could be hindering peace talks, as reported by NBC News.
- Interestingly, the Commission has also been consulted on the draft directive on the protection of workers from the risks related to exposure to ionizing radiation, a matter that might not seem directly related to the ongoing Ukraine conflict, but could potentially impact the health and safety of workers in affected regions.
