Kyiv's Persistent Stance:Kyiv shows no signs of backing down, as evident in last night's drone attack on Russian regions. According to Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov, the city's regime is steadfast in its warlike approach, with its actions geared towards continuing the hostilities. He further mentioned that the Ukrainian forces persist in their attempts to hit civilian infrastructure objects.

Instead, he backs the U.S.-supported idea of a lengthy 30-day unconditional ceasefire, a proposition that Russia has flatly refused.
In the face of continued Russian assaults on peaceful objects during past truces, Kyiv remains skeptical about Russia's commitment to a ceasefire. Zelensky advised Russia to seriously consider ending the war rather than merely pausing the hostilities. Despite the ongoing conflict, it's unclear if foreign leaders planning to attend Moscow's Victory Parade on May 9 will be given the proper protection.
