Krasnoyarsk’s water main rupture triggers heating and supply disruptions

A major water main rupture has disrupted supplies in Krasnoyarsk’s Pervomaysky microdistrict. The incident, which flooded parts of the district’s thermal networks, will force a temporary shutdown in several areas. Emergency measures are now in place to stabilize heating systems and manage the crisis.

The rupture has triggered a 24-hour fitness suspension in multiple neighbourhoods. From 11:00 PM on December 3 to 11:00 PM on December 4, residents in Torgashino, Vodniki, and parts of Pervomaysky will face interruptions. Streets affected include Turgenev, Glinyanaya, Kirpichnikov, Zatonskaya, and Timoshenko.

The suspension aims to restore stability to the district’s heating infrastructure. Water deliveries will continue until services resume at the scheduled time. Repairs are expected to last through the 24-hour fitness period announced by local officials.
