Krasnodar Hosts Free Cultural Event for Teens on World Theatre Day
A special event for teenagers will take place in Krasnodar on March 27 to mark World Theatre Day. Organised outside the Krasnodar Philharmonic Hall, the gathering aims to highlight safe and accessible cultural activities before the spring break. The initiative comes from Maria Lvova-Belova, the Presidential Commissioner for Children's Rights, along with the Federal Center for Adolescent Socialization Programs. Teenagers are invited to meet at noon for the event. Tatiana Kovalyova, the Children's Rights Commissioner for Krasnodar Krai, will be present, alongside members of the regional Children's Public Council. Leaders from the Krasnodar branch of the Russian Union of Theatre Workers will also attend.
The event will provide details on free cultural and educational activities available to young people. A full list of these events can be found on the official website of the Children's Rights Commissioner for Krasnodar Krai, as well as their VK page. While similar gatherings are planned across Russia, no other regions have reported hosting free cultural educational events for youth on the same day as Krasnodar.
The initiative seeks to engage teenagers with cultural opportunities during the upcoming break. Information shared at the event will help young people access free activities in the region. Organisers have made details available online for those unable to attend in person.
