Krasnodar football club has completed the transfer of midfielder Banjat to Krylya Sovetov team.

In a bid to strengthen their squad ahead of the upcoming season, Russian champions FC Krasnodar have been actively making moves in the transfer market. The club, known for its distinctive black and green colours, has announced several significant signings for the 2025/26 season.

One of the most notable additions is Serbian midfielder Mihailo Bažanjac, who has joined Samara club "Wings of the Soviets" from Krasnodar on July 16. Bažanjac, who played 65 matches for Krasnodar, scoring 3 goals and making 7 assists, will be missed by the club. The Krasnodar press service has thanked him for his game and wished him success in his future career.

FC Krasnodar has also announced the transfer of Brazilian defender Jubal for a two-year agreement on July 12. Jubal, who previously played for FC Nantes, joins a defence line that has also seen the arrival of Vitaliy Stezhko from "Chernomorets" and Kaiо, who has been signed by Brazilian "Botafogo".

The club has not been shy about bolstering its midfield either. FC Krasnodar has confirmed the signing of Brazilian midfielder Douglas Augusto, who joins the team after two seasons with FC Nantes. Joining Augusto in the midfield is Alexander Korяkin, who has been transferred from Moscow's "Rodina".

Despite losing key players like Fedor Smolov, Yuri Gazinsky, and goalkeeper Yuri Dyupin, who left after winning the RPL, FC Krasnodar has continued to make transfers. The club's record holder for the number of matches, Sergei Petrov, has extended his contract with FC Krasnodar by another year.

These confirmed transfers for the 2025/26 season, including Sergei Petrov, Douglas Augusto, Jubal, Stezhko, Korяkin, and Kaiо, are a testament to Krasnodar's commitment to maintaining their status as reigning Russian champions. The team, led by team captain and key midfielder Eduard Spertsyan, who has attracted strong interest from several European clubs but remains focused on Krasnodar for the season, is ready to face the challenges of the upcoming campaign.

FC Krasnodar, aiming to sustain their status as Russian champions, have bolstered their midfield for the European leagues. Douglas Augusto, a Brazilian midfielder, joins the club after two seasons with FC Nantes, filling the void left by Mihailo Bažanjac's departure to Samara club "Wings of the Soviets."
