Krasnodar Welcomes New Signings Ahead of 2025-26 Season
Russian Premier League club Krasnodar has bolstered its squad for the upcoming 2025-26 season with several new signings, as confirmed by the club's official announcements. Some of these newcomers have joined from Ligue 1, France's top-tier football league.
One of the notable additions is Gaetan Perrin, who has switched from the French championship to the Russian Premier League. Perrin, who now dons the number 23 jersey for Krasnodar, made the move on July 23. Meanwhile, Augusto, a product of Brazilian club Flamengo, joined Krasnodar from French club Nantes on July 12. Augusto signed a three-year contract with the Russian club.
Gaetan Perrin chose Krasnodar for the opportunity to actively compete and showcase his best qualities, while Augusto brings with him a wealth of experience, having begun his professional career with Flamengo and reaching the final of the Copa do Brasil in 2018 while playing for a different club.
According to Danila Kozlov, a midfielder for Krasnodar, the newcomers have settled in well with the team. Kozlov, who spoke to Metaratings.ru, stated that there are no problems or complexities in interacting with the newcomers. He also considers Perrin and Augusto to be quality players, but did not see any significant differences between them and the existing players.
Unlike Kozlov, Augusto has not yet spoken publicly about his adaptation process in the team. However, Kozlov expressed confidence that both newcomers will make valuable contributions to Krasnodar's efforts in the upcoming season.
