Körner assumes control over policy and public relations at the BdS
New Appointment at the Federal Association of System Gastronomy
Marilena Körner has taken on a new role as the Deputy Managing Director at the Federal Association of System Gastronomy (Bundesverband der Systemgastronomie e.V., BdS) in Germany. Effective March 1, Körner will be responsible for managing the interests and activities of the association, which represents franchises and chain restaurants, focusing on industry standards, advocacy, and development.
Körner, who holds a degree in political science, brings a wealth of experience to her new position. Prior to joining the BdS, she worked as a senior associate at the Berlin-based political and strategic consultancy 365 Sherpas. In this role, she advised international companies on political communication and positioning strategies.
Before her work at 365 Sherpas, Körner gained experience as a press spokesperson and scientific advisor in the German Bundestag. She also spent time at Rud Pedersen Public Affairs, where she continued to advise international companies on political communication and positioning strategies.
In her new role at the BdS, Körner will report directly to the CEO, Markus Suchert. Körner's expertise includes political communication, positioning strategies, and advising international companies.
