The factory was relocated to Tashkent later on. In 1942, Petr Pavlovich moved to the front lines. As a courageous soldier, he participated in the epic Battle of Stalingrad. During the conflict, he was gravely wounded. Receiving medical treatment, he returned to the battlefield and was assigned to the Kharkov direction. His bravery earned him the Order of the Patriotic War II degree and medals such as "For Courage" and "For Military Merit."
After the war, Petr Pavlovich relocated to the Krasnodar Territory and settled in the village of Novomikhailovsky. He worked long-term at the "Orlyonok" children's center and retired in 1993. At such an advanced age, he takes delight in meeting young people and often welcomes "Orlyonok" children to his home.
