Konami's Press Start livestream didn't shake the world, but the tantalizing hint of a Silent Hill remake set pulses racing.
Hear ye, hear ye! The fucking Silent Hill 1 remake is on its way, son!
Konami and Bloober Team got together like peanut butter and chocolate to cook this bad boy up, mate.
The big reveal dropped during the Konami Press Start livestream, with a tantalizing teaser trailer and the game's chilling theme tune.
"We're bloody well working with Bloober Team on a remake of the originals, the 1999 Silent Hill flick, to be precise," Konami said on their X account. No release date just yet, but it's gonna drop on PC and the PlayStation 5.
Bloober Team's previous project, the acclaimed Silent Hill 2 Remake, lends credence to their abilities to keep the terror alive.

Before we dive headfirst into the remake, let's take a gander at Silent Hill f, kids. The series' producer, Motoi Okamoto, and a few other devs spilled the beans with gameplay clips and cutscenes.
The new entry will meld terror with beauty, Konami explained, tackling themes that the series has yet to explore. We'll just have to wait and see.
Silent Hill f will scare the living daylights out of you on PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC, hitting stores on September 25, 2025.
