Konami's inaugural Press Start showcase delivered some exciting news and updates on various games and franchises on Thursday. The grand finale was the announcement of a remake for the iconic horror game, Silent Hill, set to be developed by Bloober Entertainment, the team behind the critically acclaimed and successful Silent Hill 2 remake.

At present, there's no information regarding the platforms for this particular remake. In the meantime, Xbox gamers searching for answers can only speculate on its potential arrival on Xbox consoles. The 2024 Silent Hill 2 remake developed by Bloober Team initially had a timed exclusivity on PlayStation 5, but it can now be played on PC as well. Xbox players might have to wait until October this year (if we're lucky) to get their hands on this title.

On the flip side, the upcoming Silent Hill game, Silent Hill f, which releases in September, will be playable on Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5, and PC from day one, also supporting Xbox Play Anywhere.
