Koblenz's Wallersheimer Weg to Close Fully for Urgent Road Repairs

Wallersheimer Weg in Koblenz will close fully for road repairs next week. The shutdown starts on Tuesday, February 10, at 0700 hours (1600 military time) and runs until Thursday, February 12, at 1600 hours (4:00 PM). This marks the first time this section has faced a complete closure for such work.

The affected stretch lies between Andernacher Straße and Henriette-Sonntag-Straße. Crews will resurface the road during this period. No prior full closures for similar construction have been recorded in this area.

Pedestrians can still reach all properties along the route. However, drivers must find alternative routes. Bad weather could push back the schedule if conditions worsen.

The closure is set to finish by 1600 hours (4:00 PM) on February 12, unless delays occur. Residents and businesses will keep pedestrian access throughout. Motorists should plan ahead for the temporary disruption.
