"He's gotta go": Klose upset about referee - Klose fumes over refereeing as Nuremberg’s winless streak hits three

Miroslav Klose was left furious after a controversial refereeing call in 1. FC Nuremberg’s 0-1 defeat to FC Schalke 04. The loss extends his side’s winless streak in the 2. Bundesliga to three matches. Klose argued that Schalke’s Hasan Kurucay should have been sent off for a tactical foul in the second half.

Schalke secured the victory in the 52nd minute when Vitalie Becker scored after a pass from Kenan Karaman. Despite the setback, Klose praised his team’s overall display, admitting they lacked sharpness in front of goal but played well.

Nuremberg remains without a win in three league games, with Klose’s side still searching for consistency. The next opportunity to break the streak comes at home against Hannover 96. A victory would provide much-needed momentum before the winter break.
