Klarna and Minor Hotels team up to streamline European travel bookings

Klarna and Minor Hotels have joined forces to simplify travel bookings across Europe. The new partnership will allow customers to use Klarna’s flexible payment options when reserving stays. Travellers can now pay upfront or split costs into three interest-free instalments. The collaboration covers 13 European markets, including Germany, France, and the UK. Other countries involved are Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, Switzerland, Portugal, Greece, Finland, and Ireland. This broad reach aims to make booking easier for a wide range of travellers.

Minor Hotels operates over 640 hotels, resorts, and branded residences across 63 countries. The company’s extensive network ensures that Klarna’s payment solutions will be available at numerous destinations. Raji Behal, Klarna’s Head of Southern and Western Europe, UK & Ireland, highlighted the goal of creating a smoother, more flexible booking experience. The partnership expands Klarna’s payment services into the travel sector. Customers booking with Minor Hotels will now have more ways to manage their expenses. The move reflects a growing trend of flexible payment options in the hospitality industry.
