Kitron Lands €17M Deal to Supply Combat Vehicle Electronics for Germany

Kitron has secured a €17 million contract to supply advanced electronic components for combat vehicles. The deal, signed with the German Armed Forces, marks a significant step in the company’s defence sector growth. Production will begin in late 2026 at one of Kitron’s European countries facilities.

The agreement involves manufacturing high-tech electronics for land-based combat systems. These components will support the Bundeswehr’s vehicle platforms, reinforcing Kitron’s role in defence logistics. The contract also broadens the company’s footprint in the aerospace and defence market.

Hans Petter Thomassen, Kitron’s Vice President for the Nordics and North America, highlighted the deal’s importance. He noted that it strengthens Kitron’s reputation as a key partner during a period of rapid change in European defence. The production phase will kick off in the second half of 2026, with all work carried out within Europe.

This contract adds to Kitron’s growing portfolio in defence and space. The €17 million deal ensures long-term collaboration with the German military. Deliveries will begin in 2026, with the company’s European site handling all manufacturing.
