Children start the pre-Christmas season with Rolf Zuckowski - Kirsten Boie and Rolf Zuckowski Light Up Hamburg’s Festive Charity Bakery Event
Famous German children's book author Kirsten Boie was a prominent guest at the Christmas Bakery Children's Day in Hamburg's Schmidts Tivoli on November 15, 2025. The event, which also featured TV host Madita van Hülsen and musician Rolf Zuckowski, raised funds for SOS Children’s Village Hamburg.
The Christmas Bakery Children's Day, launched by Rolf Zuckowski, saw children engaging in festive activities like singing, cookie decorating, and crafting decorations. Some young attendees planned to catch a performance of the popular stage musical Die Weihnachtsbäckerei after the event. Running since 2018 at Schmidts Tivoli and expanded to other cities, the musical has become a beloved holiday tradition. All proceeds from the event went towards supporting SOS Children’s Village Hamburg.
