Kindergarten Kellen promotes aromatic tennis equipment for young children
In the picturesque town of Kellenhusen, the Waldstadion tennis courts have become a hub of excitement and learning for local Kindergarten children. The Kellenhusen Tennis School, under the leadership of Simon Ruge, the tennis department leader at SC Kellenhusen, has launched a new training offer for children aged 5 to 7, thanks to the support of sponsors Martin Burmeister, Hotel Erholung, Kaufhaus Stolz, and Willi Gassert for Hauke Ewers Bau.
The unique selling point of this new training offer is its blend of sports and fun. Under Simon Ruge's guidance, 18 Kindergarten children have been introduced to the world of tennis, learning the basics of the sport while enjoying the process. The event was a resounding success, with 11 children from the Kellenhusen Kindergarten expressing interest in continuing with tennis and weekly training.
The membership fee for these children has been waived, making it an affordable option for parents. This weekly training offer is now available year-round, providing a consistent and engaging environment for the children to learn and grow.
Sebastian Godersky, the head coach of the Kellenhusen Tennis School, assists Simon Ruge in leading the sessions. The children are guided through games and drills that not only teach them the fundamentals of tennis but also foster a love for the sport.
With the addition of the Kellenhusen Tennis School, tennis in SC Kellenhusen has gained new momentum. The school is already looking forward to welcoming up to 20 new members in 2025.
