Kill Bill Returns to Theaters: Tarantino's Bloody Affair Uncut
Quentin Tarantino's iconic revenge saga, 'Kill Bill', is set to return to cinemas nationwide with a special theatrical release. 'Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair', presented as intended by Tarantino, will be a single, uncut screening of the original two-part epic.
Uma Thurman will reprise her iconic role as The Bride, seeking vengeance on her former boss and lover, Bill, played by David Carradine. The film will also feature an ensemble cast including Lucy Liu, Vivica A. Fox, Michael Madsen, Daryl Hannah, Gordon Liu, and Michael Parks. Tarantino, who wrote and directed the original films, will present this new cut out of competition at the Cannes Film Festival in 2006.
A previously unseen, seven-and-a-half-minute animated sequence will connect the two halves of the film, providing a seamless narrative experience. The full version will screen in both 70mm and 35mm formats, removing the cliffhanger ending from 'Kill Bill Vol. 1' and the recap from 'Kill Bill Vol. 2'. This will allow audiences to experience Tarantino's original vision uninterrupted.
'Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair' is produced by Tarantino himself and will be distributed by Lionsgate, who also manage library distribution rights for many of Tarantino's films. The film is set for a nationwide theatrical release on December 5, 2025.
Fans can expect a unique cinematic experience with 'Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair'. The film's previous installments, 'Kill Bill Vol. 1' and 'Kill Bill Vol. 2', grossed $180m and $152m worldwide respectively, and this new release promises to build on that success. Mark your calendars for December 5, 2025, as Tarantino's epic revenge tale returns to the big screen.
