Kill Bill Returns to Theaters as One Movie: 'The Whole Bloody Affair'
Quentin Tarantino's iconic 'Kill Bill' is set to return to theaters in a new, complete form. 'Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair' will be released on December 5, combining both volumes into one movie, as Tarantino originally envisioned.
The new version, running 7.5 minutes longer than the original theatrical cut, will include a new animated sequence. It will also remove the cliffhanger ending from 'Kill Bill: Vol. 1' and the recap from 'Vol. 2', giving viewers a seamless experience.
Tarantino, who wrote and directed 'Kill Bill' as one movie, has long wanted fans to see it this way. He first discussed the idea of an animated version in 2014. The Whole Bloody Affair will be presented in select theaters in both 70mm and 35mm formats.
'Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair' stars Uma Thurman as The Bride, seeking revenge against the Deadly Viper Assassination Squad and Bill, played by David Carradine. The movie's original run grossed $333 million globally. Fans can now look forward to experiencing Tarantino's epic revenge tale as one complete movie.
