As per the military administration of Kyiv, at least 15 individuals lost their lives amidst the devastating Russian air strike. Timur Tkatschenko, city administrator, shared the grim news via Telegram, ensuring that rescue efforts to locate survivors buried under debris were ongoing. Over 40 people were left injured, according to a Ministry of Internal Affairs overview.
City-wide fires ignited at 27 different locations, as reported by Ukraine's Interior Minister Ihor Klymenko. Casualties extended to residential building residents, educational institutions, and essential infrastructure facilities. Vitali Klitschko, head of the civil administration, echoed the sentiments in a Telegram post, describing numerous fires occurring across the city. "The Kyiv Independent" reported hearing drone and rocket explosions throughout the city.
Odesa Bears the Brunt of Drone Attacks
The news agency RBK-Ukraine shared that power outages swept through the capital. Simultaneously, numerous drone attacks also targeted the port city of Odesa, as reported by the local mayor.

Russia continued its assault on Ukraine with numerous drones overnight on Sunday. According to Ukrainian reports, Russia launched close to 140 drones and their replicas of which approximately 125 were neutralized by the Ukrainian air force. The total number of drones deployed was significantly lower than the previous week, as Russia launched nearly 500 drones in a single night. The final report for Monday night's air force activity remains pending.
