Kida Khodr Ramadan, the award-winning German actor, is currently in his home country, Lebanon, preparing for new projects. After a brief stint in open detention last year, Ramadan is back and ready to make a mark in the international and Lebanese entertainment industry.

Ramadan, who identifies as a Kreuzberg-Berlin-Lebanese, spent 9 days in detention for driving without a license. However, the experience did not deter him from his passion for acting. Instead, it seems to have sparked a newfound interest in exploring new artistic paths.

During his time in detention, Ramadan noticed how his status changed depending on the situation. While he was always referred to as the German actor when he won awards, he was called the Lebanese actor during his time in open detention. This experience has made him more aware of his cultural identity and the importance of representing both his adopted home and his home country in his work.

Ramadan's upcoming film project in Lebanon is his first project since his release from prison. He considers Lebanon one of the most beautiful countries and is excited to work there again. This new film project is scheduled for release next year.

In addition to his work in Lebanon, Ramadan is also planning to collaborate with international partners. He plans to work with the ETI Schauspielschule Berlin and participants in a transnational project at the Polish port of Cigacice. This project involves writing a song, recording it, and creating accompanying video material. This interest in international cultural and artistic cooperation, particularly in theater and film projects, is a testament to Ramadan's global outlook.

Interestingly, Ramadan has declined many offers from abroad in the past, but he now wants to work more internationally. He may even play a gangster role internationally in the future. However, his recent focus on international projects does not seem to have diminished his interest in working in his home country, Lebanon.

Ramadan has stated that the people in Lebanon have great courage and strength. He admires their resilience and is eager to contribute to the Lebanese entertainment industry in any way he can. Despite his international projects, Ramadan is currently focusing on projects in his home country, Lebanon.

As Ramadan continues to make a name for himself in both the international and Lebanese entertainment industries, audiences can look forward to seeing more of his work in the future.
