Khulna Police Train 7,000 Easy-Bike Drivers to Curb Traffic Chaos
Khulna Metropolitan Police has launched a training programme for easy-bike drivers to ease traffic congestion in the city. Over 7,000 drivers have already completed the sessions, which focus on road safety and better driving habits. The initiative aims to improve traffic discipline and reduce accidents on busy routes. The training took place at the Joragate Traffic Office on Saturday, led by a police officer whose name has not been disclosed. Drivers learned about road safety rules, managing passengers, and following speed lane guidelines. The course also covered techniques for avoiding congestion, preventing accidents, and handling emergencies. Participants were advised to use GPS for navigation, stay alert, and report issues to authorities when necessary. Many easy-bike drivers have welcomed the programme, saying it helps them navigate the city more safely. The police plan to continue the training to ensure smoother traffic flow in Khulna. With 7,034 drivers already trained, the programme is making progress in improving road discipline. The lessons on speed control, lane usage, and emergency responses are designed to cut down on accidents and delays. Authorities encourage all easy-bike operators to take part, reinforcing safer driving practices across the city.
