Reality Star Khloe Speaks Out on Lake Como Wedding Brawl: "I Was the One Bleeding"
Khloe, a contestant on BBNaija, has spoken out about the alleged assault, asserting that she was actually the one who was wronged.
After being accused of assault by nightlife personality Sunky O, Big Brother Naija star Abiri Oluwabusayo, popularly known as Khloe, has finally broken her silence on the incident that occurred at a wedding in Lake Como, Italy.
In a heated Instagram post, Khloe spoke up against the alleged accusations, revealing that the tension had brewed even before the wedding began. The event, intended to celebrate love, turned sour when what seemed like a joyful getaway turned into a nightmare.
According to Khloe, Sunky had accommodation issues and pleaded with the villa host to allow him to stay. With a mission to avoid tension, Khloe took care of the logistics, leaving Milan and heading to Como.
However, things took a turn for the worse when Chizoba, the woman who accused her of assault, and another individual named Caramel, who reportedly had unresolved issues with Chizoba, crossed paths. Khloe attempted to intervene, even encouraging them to talk things out, but to no avail. The situation quickly spiraled out of control.
Khloe recalled that Chizoba lashed out during the wedding event, shouted threats, and even demanded the villa keys. Khloe refused, not for spite, but to ensure no other guests were left stranded.
The confrontation escalated, leaving Khloe to endure an ambush, being violently shoved against a wall, dragged down the stairs, and later assaulted in the villa. Khloe claimed she was battered by Chizoba, Sunky, and the others, receiving blows to the glass and attempted to be tossed off a balcony.
"I didn't beat her," Khloe wrote, referring to Chizoba. "I held her tight because she was screaming. But I was the one tossed around. I was the one bleeding," she added.
The confrontation left Khloe with bruises and bleeding. Despite the brutal assault, she claimed that the police offered her an ambulance when they arrived and asked if she wanted to press charges, but she chose not to.
In response to the viral clips circulating online, Khloe explained her older friends advised her to stay mum amid the incident, which resulted in a subdued, yet pressured smile captured in one of the clips.
Khloe expressed remorse for putting Caramel and Chizoba in the same space without being aware of the depth of their hostility, taking full responsibility for her oversight. However, Khloe maintained that nothing could justify the violence she allegedly endured.
