Kherpuchinsky's Historic House of Culture Reopens After Major Renovations

The Kherpuchinsky House of Culture has completed its first phase of major renovations. The project, funded by Polymetal, has transformed the village's central cultural venue. Officials have announced a reopening date in early February.

The building, once a bathhouse, required a full overhaul of its outdated heating system. Workers removed old walls, added insulation, and refaced them with gypsum fibreboard. New floor foundations were laid, and fresh linoleum covered the updated surfaces.

The entrance area received a complete refresh, including new furniture and replacement doors. Inside, the space now feels more open and welcoming, thanks to the modern Fora finishing material. The improvements aim to create a warmer, more inviting atmosphere for visitors.

Polymetal supported the project under a 2025 socioeconomic agreement with the Polina Osipenko District. Yelena Alexandrova, director of mass events, publicly thanked the company for its financial backing. The facility serves as the village's primary cultural hub, hosting community gatherings and news events.

The updated House of Culture will reopen in the second week of February. The renovations have modernised the building while preserving its role as a key social space. Residents will soon have access to a refreshed venue for local activities and celebrations.
